The National Legal Mentoring Consortium, the Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Center on Professionalism, and the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Professionalism sponsored a national legal mentoring conference on May 1-3, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. Attorneys from more than 25 different states joined in the national discussion entitled, “Mentoring in Our Evolving Profession,” on the importance of mentoring in our rapidly changing legal profession and on how to promote, establish, and support successful mentoring experiences. In addition to these insightful topics and brilliant speakers from across the nation, the program highlighted bar associations and law firms for their efforts in mentoring activities through PED Talks (Professional and Educational Development Talks).
